In my fantasy, all the comic book characters engaging this cruelty are forced to experience it somehow, including those sideline standers of the GOP.

The farmers voted for this and now we’re all paying the price, literally.

The farmers voted for this, indeed. Predictably, there's now a growing push by agribusinesses on Capitol Hill to get them a bailout but this Congress, like the presidency, definitely feels like its entering a looong lame duck

Can any objective observer deny that Donald Trump is guilty of treason?

In an attempt to seize unconstitutional powers that will enable him to rule the USA as a dictator, Donald Trump is deploying both ICE and the military in American cities. His goal: to overthrow our Constitutional Republic and replace it with a Fascist, White-Supremacist, Christian-Nationalist Kleptocracy to be ruled by the Trump Family Crime Syndicate.

Donald Trump is intellectually, cognitively, ethically and morally unfit to perform the duties of the president. Opposition to his presidency grows daily. Americans reject his ICE deployments, his sexual predations, his fraudulent financial dealings, his Fascist deployment of the U.S. military against the American people, and his compulsive and continual lying.

How does Treasonous Trump intend to overthrow our government?

In a blatantly treasonous act, Donald Trump pardoned the violent criminals who—in response to his call—attacked a Joint Session of Congress on 1/6/2021. Some of these criminals are now ICE deployed bounty-hunters—a Gestapo-like private police force directed by Donald Trump to ignore the law, ignore due-process, kidnap People of Color, and (before the courts can learn of their existence) make them disappear.

Who supports Trump’s treasonous acts?

Trump’s MAGA base includes a hopelessly corrupt Supreme Court. It includes criminals serving in the President’s Cabinet. It includes hundreds of corrupt Republican Members of Congress, thousands of corrupt Republican office-holders, and millions of MAGA Neo-Nazis who hate People-of-Color.

Who does not support Trump’s treasonous acts?

That Donald Trump’s Fascist presidency is opposed by the majority of Americans is an irrefutable fact. Revealed by the October 18th “NO KINGS” protests followed by the total rejection of MAGA Republicans in the November 4th elections, the Trump presidency—as reported by Fox News—is currently approved by only 38% of Americans; 60% disapprove.

The 60% majority will not rest until the treasonous criminal, Donald Trump, and his MAGA Neo-Nazi enablers, are removed from office, prosecuted, convicted, and thrown into prison.

Treason seems like a high bar to prove, plus the SCOTUS basically gave him immunity. Bet he'll walk away from this scott free, probably with a megafortune he grifted along the way. That's my honest take anyway. Super despairing to be sure, but seems like the most likely case scenario after this..

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara just announced his police department will not work with ICE and other federal immigration authorities. Local government is standing up to Trump.

Oh that is the point.

Destroy the systems completely.

Well farmers voted for this.

How did they miss the massive deportation signs?

Great question! Like I guess it’s all fun and games until the presidential candidate does to their crops (tariffs) and their workforce (deportations) exactly what he told farmers he would do to them and their businesses, if elected to a second term. I've seen plenty of interviews with these guys now lamenting their decision but I can't for the life of me grasp just what the fuck they heard in the words Trump was speaking every frickin night from campaign rallies for a year and a half, nearly two. They plead ignorance now which *kinda* works because some of these guys are super folksy … but also, enormously to blame for their own demise if they voted MAGA in 2024.

^ my two cents, fwiw

Well let’s just call it out.

Racism came first before economic reality. They want a white, Christian country.

They believe the undocumented are leeches upon our society. Never mind how much they contribute to our coffers or THEIR business.

FAFO.

(Just my opinion too. )

Correct, to some degree. Mass deportations are certainly his portfolio in the West Wing, but he definitely has longtime trusted mentors in the far right world of lobbying, think tanks, and other extremists with ideas.

What makes it your country? The fact that your ancestors migrated here, killed as many natives that they could, forced the rest onto reservations, imported slaves to do the menial labor of the rich, and now you want to shut the door?

Remember in the Declaration of Independence Indians were referred to as Savages. Anyway the Indians were quite busy killing and enslaving each other to actually have a thriving civilization. Reservations? You mean Casinos. As for imported slaves that ended some time ago like 1865. Those somehow related have been doing quite fine with USG assistance and more recently self initiative and focus on education. Citizens decide who enters our country. Not border jumping uninvited guests
