Like I guess it’s all fun and games until the presidential candidate does to their crops (tariffs) and their workforce (deportations) exactly what he told farmers he would do to them and their businesses, if elected to a second term. I've seen plenty of interviews with these guys now lamenting their decision but I can't for the life of me grasp just what the fuck they heard in the words Trump was speaking every frickin night from campaign rallies for a year and a half, nearly two. They plead ignorance now which *kinda* works because some of these guys are super folksy … but also, enormously to blame for their own demise if they voted MAGA in 2024.
