Trump Dismantles Biden's Immigration Reforms, Halts Family Reunification and Resettlement Initiatives
A complete list of migrant relief policies rescinded via Trump's day one executive orders.
WASHINGTON — Hours after being inaugurated, President Donald Trump rolled back executive orders issued by former President Joe Biden. The move is unsurprising, given that for the last four years, Trump has said for years that he would undo all of his predecessor’s migrant relief work via executive order. In all, Trump issued 78 rescissions. All are relevant. However, here are all the ones that pertain to immigration:
Executive Order 13993 of January 20, 2021 (Revision of Civil Immigration Enforcement Policies and Priorities).
Executive Order 14010 of February 2, 2021 (Creating a Comprehensive Regional Framework To Address the Causes of Migration, To Manage Migration Throughout North and Central America, and To Provide Safe and Orderly Processing of Asylum Seekers at the United States Border).
Executive Order 14012 of February 2, 2021 (Restoring Faith in Our Legal Immigration Systems and Strengthening Integration and Inclusion Efforts for New Americans).
Executive Order 14013 of February 4, 2021 (Rebuilding and Enhancing Programs To Resettle Refugees and Planning for the Impact of Climate Change on Migration).
Executive Order 14011 of February 2, 2021 (Establishment of Interagency Task Force on the Reunification of Families).

Programs designed to help resettle refugees and prepare for migration caused by climate change are also canceled.
Additionally, the task force that worked to reunite families separated at the border has been eliminated, leaving migrant families with fewer resources to reconnect.
Within hours of this presidential order, Trump also shut down the CBP 1 App that many refugee applicants used and the Executive Office for Immigration Review, which oversees the US immigration court system. Besides these particular points, Trump singled out immigrant-based communities as well. The rescissions that pertain to them are listed below:
