Yes, next year’s decisions?? There needs to be a Blue Wave that sweeps America. And then They need to Act!

Sigh of relief, but remember, "don’t mistake one easy call for redemption."

Today, SCOTUS upheld Birthright Citizenship. As a woman in her late 50s who was born to legally immigrated parents who were both professionals (research scientist at a university hospital and a mechanical engineer at major architectural-engineering firms) in a major East Coast city, I am relieved. I am also intensely appalled that this was even on the table for SCOTUS to judge. I, along with SOO many citizens, have lost all faith in them and don’t trust this SCOTUS as far as we can throw them!! (With the exception of Brown-Jackson and Soto-Mayor)

ANY candidate whom I vote for going forward MUST stand firmly on OVERHAULING SCOTUS up to and including: 1) Increasing # up to at least 13 judges… 2) 15 year term limits… 3) Solemn Affirmation of Ethical Behavior and 4) Full prosecution when convicted of corruption.

As I read Kavanagh‘s concurrence, he really sides with the dissent on the constitutional issue. So the tally is really 5–4.

So three SCOTUS seat holders DO NOT agree that “the Constitution means what it says”. Expand to 13 with rolling 10 year tenures. Democracy dies in dark robes
