House Republicans Launch Probe Into Non-Profits That Help Migrants
House Homeland Security Committee chairman Mark Green (outgoing) demands records from 200+ NGOs.
WASHINGTON — Outgoing1 House Homeland Security Committee Chair Mark Green (R-TN) and Oversight Subcommittee Chair Josh Brecheen (R-OK) have launched an investigation into more than 200 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), examining whether taxpayer dollars were used to facilitate illegal immigration during what they call the “Biden-Harris border crisis.”

The committee’s inquiry targets a wide range of NGOs that, according to Green and Brecheen, received billions in government funding while providing transportation, shelter, and other services to inadmissible migrants after their release by U.S. immigration authorities.
