Fundraising. August marks my 55th straight month as a full-time reporter — most of them spent uninsured, below the poverty line, sometimes skipping meals while bills piled up. Hundreds of thousands read Migrant Insider each month, but only a few hundred pay for it. I’m now in talks with potential business partners to help sustainably fund this work for the long haul.
