I'll give him the back-handed compliment of saying that at least he has so far been unwilling to deny taking the cash, and is only claiming that he didn't do anything illegal (which under Pam Bondi, seems factually correct). His interviewers have all failed to ask him the obvious question of whether he kept the cash or reported it on his taxes. As the current prez likes to say about so many others: "he's very guilty of something."

So Tom Homan accepted $50,000 in cash in a fast food bag, somewhere in the Western District of Texas (likely near the Mexican Border) - but he's not corrupt? Uh, no.

Did Tom Homan give the $50k cash back to the FBI?

Did Tom Homan declare the $50k in his taxes?

Why did the other person under investigation suggest (correctly) that Tom Homan would take a bribe?

Buy one person a beer, we'll buy one person a beer and so on. Same dynamic as the loaves and fishes story in the Bible. It's the same as Hippies at a rock concert, light a double, take a hit and pass it on. Soon everyone is in the groove and stoned.
